A very successful paparazzo, Cohen had photographs on the front pages of such fleet street icons as The Daily Express, News of the World, Mirror, Evening Standard and Independent by the time he was 21. He photographed the rich and famous, developed professional relationships with people like Sting and David and Victoria Beckham, maintained a personal relationship with then prime minister Tony Blair, and built a reputation as a photojournalist in his hometown of London.

Cohen made the move to Israel and created a body of work attracting many of Israel’s artistic elite earning him a place in one of Tel Aviv’s most reputable spaces, Engel Gallery. Some of his most iconic images so far have included panoramic photographs set in the Negev Desert and feature carefully constructed biblical tableaus. Combining the dramatic aesthetics of Israel’s landscapes with striking portraits of individuals and painstakingly planned scenes, Cohen’s work is amongst the most creative and intriguing of Israel’s young artists. Some of Cohen’s pieces are displayed at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art of Israel as well as the home of Prince Charles.

Set to launch his US campaign at ART BASEL MIAMI 2013, Nelly Rosenking of NJR PRODUCTIONS fuses a private viewing event opening night Thursday December 5th 2013 at premier state-of-the-art shooting range LOCK & LOAD, a 14,000 square-foot brand new facility located in Miami’s Wynwood district. In the heart of all the Basel art action this evening promises a most unique experience showcasing the venue’s adrenaline rushing machine gun packageslike Special Forces Israel, 007 & Scarface all in the name of art in a transformed party aesthetic. Cocktails served by Le Soreq Wines sommelier and L’chaim Vodka mixologist.
